Celebrating 125 Years 1883-2008
This year we celebrate a milestone anniversary since our founding in 1883. For 125 years, people have gathered in the heart of Hailey to give thanks to God and celebrate the blessings of Christian community.
Today, young and old, newcomers and long-time members are all part of the caring family of Emmanuel Church.
Wherever you are on your journey of faith and life, we invite you to join us and find a welcoming spiritual home. There is a place for you!
Sunday Schedule
8 a.m. - Holy Eucharist
A quiet service with a conversational sermon and no music.
9:15 a.m. - Christian Education Class for Adults
Thoughtful classes on a variety of topics through the year. We are currently enjoying a video series based on the book Simply Christian by Bishop N.T. Wright of Durham, England.
10 a.m. - Sunday School for Kids
Kids join the congregation for the first hymn, then go to Sunday School class and return for the Eucharist. At Emmanuel, we use a curriculum called Godly Play that invites kids to encounter God through hearing the stories of the Christian faith.
10 a.m. - Holy Eucharist
A choral service with music. Nursery care provided for the youngest.
Children are welcome at all of our services of worship.
